Radio Uprising!

Radio Uprising is CMP's exciting new program that gives youth producers the opportunity to express themselves creatively via the airwaves. Radio Uprising gives youth the opportunity to engage in politics, social action, and become more involved in their community via independent and grassroots media production. Youth explore the media as a public platform for community dialogue, giving them the chance to break the barriers between youth and civilization, while reclaiming the power of the media.

9.29.11. Outsiders

Radio Uprising! had a busy Fall season! On September 29, 2011 we had an awesome show about Outsiders! We heard Alexis’ piece on Bullying and Teen Suicide, Alex’s piece on Tech Addiction and Alexis and Khary’s piece on Teen Pregnancy in Poughkeepsie. We also listened to Swany’s song called “Money Stuggles,” which he produced at CMP! Make sure you listen to Swany's song!
